Oshun Family Center presents

Mommy & Me: A healing space for women of color

Spend this fall with mothers that are supportive, insightful and working to improve themselves. We will engage in 8 interactive meetings every Thursday starting October 3rd - November 21st at the Discovery Center.

This group is facilitated by Saleemah McNeil MS, MFT. She is passionate about birth work and creating spaces for families of color to process major life transitions such as bring their little human earthside. In collaboration with the Discovery Center, Mommy & Me for women of color will provide and interactive oppurtunity for learning, growing, uplifting and healing.

The benefit of building community and out of isolation can improve several areas of your life such as mental health, parenting skills, physical health and self care. As mothers we tend to focus soley on the care of our little ones and forget about our needs. By joining this group, we will combine the two!

If you are interested in joining the FREEmommy sister circle, please register! Space is limited!

We will meet every Thursday starting on October 3rd, 2019 - November 21st, 2019. Each week will require registration.

Week 1 - I am My Sister’s Keeper

We will use this time to meet one another, tour the Discovery Center grounds and have an open discussion. Light refreshments will be served.
